Planner is measured by Avant.Dev with our own copy of Plausible at analytics.avant.dev. It runs on our server, sets no cookies, does not follow you to other sites, and no advertising network is involved. This page lists everything it records. Your notes, tasks, documents and anything else you keep in Planner are never part of it.

What a page view records

• The screen you opened, when, and the page that sent you here
• Your country, and whether you are on a phone, tablet or computer — worked out from your address, which is never stored
• Whether you are signed in, never who you are
• Whether you are using the website or the installed app
• If a link we shared brought you here (a post on avant.dev, a newsletter, an invitation): which one it was

What we count as an action

• Joining the beta guestlist, and accepting an invite code
• Creating an account, and signing in
• Choosing a plan
• Opening a link that leaves the site

What we never record

• Anything you write or store in Planner: notes, tasks, goals, journals, documents, finances, health entries
• Your name, email, invite code or password
• Your IP address: it is used to work out the country and then discarded
• Cookies or any identifier that would recognise you on another site

Why we measure it

To see which screens people use, where sign-up becomes difficult, and whether an invitation or a post brought anyone. It is about screens and patterns, never about a person, and the numbers are always aggregated.
